Martin has enjoyed a lifetime in television, since his early days in "Summertime Special" to his regular appearances on the "New Comedians" and ITV's latest light entertainment show "That's Entertainment!". Which subsequently led to him recording a 7 week Series for Granada Television called 'Funny Up North' with Vic Reeves and Lenny Henry.

He has presented, appeared on, and warmed up audiences for such programmes as "This Is Your Life" with Michael Aspel, "This Is My Moment" with Melanie B, "Strictly Come Dancing" with Bruce Forsyth, "Crosswits" with Tom O Connor, "Through the Keyhole", "This Morning", "Ready Steady Cook", "Stars In Their Eyes", "Countdown" and "The Football Show." to name but a few, along with presenting a number of corporate videos.

In 2004 Martin was approached by Mansfield 103.2 to host his own Sunday night radio show. The Show ran for over a year during which time the listening figures almost doubled from any other presenters at that time. Unfortunately and much to the disappointment of Mansfield 103.2 Martin had to finish the show due to his heavy work schedule, but regularly returns as a popular guest as he does on countless other radio stations.
